CREATING UNFORGETTABLE MEMORIES  
Whether you are planning an intimate dinner or an Italian long lunch feast we have the space and room at Pizzini Wines to accommodate your celebration.
We specialise in bespoke functions and our reception space can be styled to cater for both intimate gatherings or larger celebrations.

 

 

Wedding Ceremony in the grounds

Includes preparation of site, set up of wine barrel for signing and chairs for seating up to 30 guests. Cost - $500*

Additional chairs for reception will be charged at $5 per person

 

Ceremony & Reception

Ceremony as described above, plus set up of reception space for up to 50 people. Includes tables, chairs, white table cloths, display barrels and benches, umbrellas & heaters as required. Cost $2200*

Additional guests will be charged at $25 per person 

 

Beverages

Beverage packages start from $55pp. Beverages include Pizzini wines and beer/soft drinks. Bar service and glassware is included. 

 

Food & Caterers

The caterer is responsible for food, food service and all crockery and cuttlery. The Pizzini kitchen can be used by any of the below approved caterers by prior arrangement.

Easter at Pizzini
Join us at cellar door with family and friends to celebrate Easter and our Autumn harvest

Cellar door is open from 10am to 5pm over the whole Easter break including Good Friday.

Pack your family and friends into the car and head to the King Valley to celebrate Easter with us. It is a beautiful time of year to visit and we can guarantee great food, wines, live music and fun for all of the family.

Easter Saturday & Sunday - 20 & 21 April 2019

Cost $15 entry, includes your take home Pizzini wine glass. Kids free

Choose from a range of delcious food by Rinaldo's Casa Cucina - antipasto, cheese plates, lunch dishes $13-29, available 11.30-3pm

Coffee, ice-cream and Katrina's famous desserts available 11am -4pm

Sample some of our favourite wines or enjoy a Brachetto cocktail or Rosé spritz

Be entertained by Maurice Milani and The Rumour from 11am as they play their toe tapping tunes.

Thi kids will enjoy circus demonstrations and workshops, the giant games and sports area.

On Sunday only, we will have kids running races with cash prizes, beginning around 1.30pm.

Our 2019 menu will be finalised closer to the event, but a copy of last years menu is below for reference:

Antipasto Plate- Gorganzola topped with Jam Lady Jam fig chutney, ricotta and spinach tart topped with basil pesto, hummus, serano ham, canaoilo infused pork and thyme terrine served with wafer crackers and Milawa bread

Mixed Cheese Plate - Jacks english cheddar, Gorganzola Dolce, Enterprise double brie served with Jam Lady Jam fig chutney and mixed crackers

  • House made potato gnocchi with choice of Katrina's bolognese or Napoletana, served with mixed leaf salad
  • Slow roasted pork, coriander aioli slaw and apple sauce roll served with sweet potato chips
  • Katrina’s home made lasagne served with mixed leaf salad 
  • Moroccan chicken and vegetable cous cous topped with cacik served with mixed leaf salad
  • Herb and chilli marinaded grilled calamari served on a mixed garden salad and topped with aioli and roasted mixed seeds

Selection of Katrina's delicious desserts plus 7 flavours of ice-cream to choose from.

Roaming Poppy will be at cellar door serving up coffee, tea and hot chocolates.

Long Lunch
$190 per person ($175 per person for Wine Club Members)
Our Long Lunch will take place on Saturday June 8th and Adam Pizzini and the team from Rinaldo’s Casa Cucina will be preparing the feast. There are very limited spaces available for this lunch, please contact us on 03 5729 8030 or email louway@pizzini.com.au to check availability.

In the grounds
Come visit us for lunch and a wine tasting. Antipasto and cheese plates plus delicious desserts will be served from 11am until 4pm and warming Italian inspired dishes from 11.30 to 2.30. Kick back and listen to live music from Wally Howlett as you enjoy the friendly and welcoming atmosphere.

Sunday 10th June 

Drop in or spend the day! Antipasto and cheese plates plus delicious desserts will be served from 11am until 4pm and a range of warming Italian inspired lunch dishes such as gnocchi, pork belly and lasagne will be available from 11.30 to 2.30. Be entertained by Maurice Milani and the Rumor and roaming gypsy jazz band Bric a Brac. You are guaranteed a great day.

 

*Please note that our event has previously been part of the Wines of the King Valley’s Weekend Fit for a King festival, however with changes to this regional event each winery is now featuring their own tasting glass to accompany entry to their event. As such there may be a separate entry fee when you visit other King Valley wineries over the Queen’s Birthday weekend this year.

Bus bookings are required for any bus which seats 12 or more people, via phoning 03 5729 8278.  Limited larger busses will be permitted. Please note we cannot accept any busses arriving after 2.30pm.

Come join us as part of the High Country Harvest Festival for an Italian style long lunch and a celebration of all things Italian, with Italian wine styles, Italian food and opera!

Adam Pizzini from award winning Rinaldo's Casa Cucina is planning a fabulous Italian inspired menu, featuring local, seasonal produce; each course will be matched to our Italian varietal wines.

Entertainment is courtesy of the amazing Catherine Pendelich and Ced Le Medelo.

The long lunch will kick off at 11.30am with a glass of Prosecco and canapés on the lawn followed by three delicious courses in our undercover kiln area.

Saturday 17 and Sunday 18 November 2018

This event is part of the Wine's of the King Valley's La Dolce Vita Wine & Food Festival.

Saturday and Sunday, Cellar door, 10am - 5pm (bookings not required)

Enjoy homemade gnocchi and our crisp new release white wines. Relax in the shade with friends and a Brachetto cocktail  or Rosé Spritz while the kids enjoy the range of activities just for them. 

This is a fun weekend for the whole family. Children's activities include the giant sandpit, roving circus entertainers, giant jenga and connect four, kite making and face panting.
At 2.30 each day we hold our Gnocchi Rolling competition and at 3pm our Wine Spitting Challenge - the winner or each takes home a case of wine as a prize!

Our lunch menu features Katrina's gnocchi of course, but also a range of other Italian inspired delights courtesty of Adam Pizzini and the team at Rinaldo's Casa Cucina. GF and V options available.

Project Forty Nine, head chef Tim Newitt will be joined by Chef & culinary star from the North East Douglas Elder, to deliver a four course menu that both celebrates Italian style and pays homage to the fabulous produce of North East Victoria.
