What are your opening hours?
Our Cellar Door is open every day excluding Christmas and Boxing Days. Opening hours are 10am-5pm, Good Friday and Anzac Day we are open 12 noon – 5pm.

Are wine tastings free?
Pizzini offer a selection of wine tasting experiences at Cellar Door. These start from $10 per person (wine tastings are free for Wine Club Members).
Do I need to book in for a wine tasting?
Bookings are recommended to ensure you enjoy the best tasting experience possible, but we do accept walk ins – we understand sometimes plans change and you can’t always book ahead. Find out more or book here.
Do you offer lunch?
We offer delicious house made cheese and salumi plates plus a selection of cakes. These can be enjoyed with a wine tasting or in the grounds with a glass of wine or coffee.
Can you accommodate food allergies?
We can provide a gluten free or vegetarian platter option. We also have gluten free cake options and have soy and almond milk available for coffees.
*Please note, we do use flour in our kitchen so can't guarantee there are no traces of gluten in foods prepared on-site.
Do you have accommodation on site?
We have two accommodation options on site; a two bedroom cottage and a larger four bedroom house, they can be booked online here. We also own the Mountain View Hotel in Whitfield which has four motel style rooms with ensuites, they can be booked here.
Are you pet friendly?
We love animals and your furry friends are very welcome most days of the year. We ask you do keep your furbaby on a lead at all times as Norbert our winery Labrador will appreciate this. Over our busy festival weekends we ask that you don’t bring your pets please.
Can you accommodate group bookings?
We love welcoming groups, if you are planning to visit us with more than 10 guests in your group, we ask that you book well in advance so we can ensure that we can look after you and provide the attentive service we are known for. Please email cellardoor@pizzini.com.au or phone 03 5729 8278.
Is the venue wheelchair accessible?
The venue is all on one level and we have disabled parking and toilets.
Does your carpark accommodate buses, caravans and larger vehicles?
Yes, we have a large carpark with good turning spaces. Larger vehicles are encourage to park towards the rear of the carpark where there is more space.
Can you accommodate deaf or non English speaking customers?
We have some multi-lingual staff and will do our best to communicate with anyone that doesn’t speak English.

Do you sell aged wines?
We keep a selection of aged wines for purchase at Cellar Door, you can also order these over the phone or email orders@pizzini.com.au to find out what is currently available.
What payment options are available for wine orders?
We accept Visa, Mastercard and Amex. Direct Debit can also be arranged.
How much does delivery cost?
Freight is $15-$32 per carton delivery depending on the location. Wine club members receive free delivery for Wine Packs, and on any orders of 1 dozen bottles or more. View our shipping information here.
How long does it take for my wine to be delivered?
Deliveries are despatched from the winery at Whitfield, Victoria. Orders are usually despatched within 24 hours and delivery is usually within 3 to 14 days, depending on your location. See our order and delivery policy for more information.
Can I track my delivery?
Yes, our carriers, eParcel or Aramex will provide tracking details once your order is despatched.
Can I send your wine as a gift?
Yes, you can place a gift order online, via email or via phone. Please notify us at the time of ordering that it is a gift. A card with a personal message can be included with the wine. The wine will be despatched direct to the recipient with the card enclosed but the invoice will be sent direct to you.
Do you deliver overseas?
We can deliver to many countries overseas, but not all. The cost of the freight will be passed on to you (we will provide a quote beforehand). Duties and taxes may be payable by the receiver also (we can't determine this beforehand). Please email orders@pizzini.com.au to find out more and to place an order. International orders can't be placed online at the moment.
Can I buy your wine around Australia?
Many of our wines, especially in our sparkling Italian and La Famiglia Ranges are available nationally. For information on where you can purchase specific wines contact us on 03 5729 8278.

When were the first Pizzini vines planted?
1978 was the year the first vines were planted, 1994 was the first vintage released under the Pizzini wine label.
What wine varieties does Pizzini grow?
Arneis, Barbera, Brachetto, Canaiolo, Colorino, Dolcetto, Lambrusco, Montepulciano, Moscato, Nero d’Avola, Nebbiolo, Prosecco, Pinot Grigio, Riesling, Sangiovese, Shiraz, Teroldego, Trebbiano & Verduzzo.
Are your wines vegan friendly?
We have 2 wines that are vegan friendly our Arneis and Canaiolo.
Do you add preservatives to your wines?
We use minimal amounts of sulphur dioxide in most of our wines. Our Teroldego is made with no preservatives added.
