Pizzini Fiano 2025

The colour is light straw. The nose shows floral, orange blossom, citrus, stone fruit and a subtle honey finish. The palate is textural with lovely minerality. Stone fruit and citrus on the palate are supported by delicious lingering minerality and great length. Enjoy with mushroom arancini, crispy skin barramundi or seafood linguine.

The Fiano was machine picked from our Rose River vineyard, with the mineral rich soils from this vineyard providing lovely minerality in the wine. The fruit was whole bunch pressed and the cloudy juice and solids were placed into a stainless tank to begin fermentation, with the full solids ferment providing structure and complexity. Cool temperature were maintained (14 – 15 °C) to allow the best varietal expression. After fermentation the wine spent four months in contact with yeast lees, which combined with minimal oak influence adds complexity and to give more roundness and texture to the back palate of the wine.
