If only life was as sweet as Nonna's gnocchi!

Saturday 17 and Sunday 18 November 2018

This event is part of the Wine's of the King Valley's La Dolce Vita Wine & Food Festival.

Saturday and Sunday, Cellar door, 10am - 5pm (bookings not required)

Enjoy homemade gnocchi and our crisp new release white wines. Relax in the shade with friends and a Brachetto cocktail  or Rosé Spritz while the kids enjoy the range of activities just for them. 

This is a fun weekend for the whole family. Children's activities include the giant sandpit, roving circus entertainers, giant jenga and connect four, kite making and face panting.
At 2.30 each day we hold our Gnocchi Rolling competition and at 3pm our Wine Spitting Challenge - the winner or each takes home a case of wine as a prize!

Our lunch menu features Katrina's gnocchi of course, but also a range of other Italian inspired delights courtesty of Adam Pizzini and the team at Rinaldo's Casa Cucina. GF and V options available.

King’s Plate (antipasto to share): Gorgonzola topped with fig and sweet potato chutney; ricotta, pea and herb frittata topped with basil pesto; hummus; prosciutto; Canaiolo-infused pork, fennel and black pepper terrine; mixed crackers $29 (GF available)

Mixed cheese plate: English cheddar, Gorgonzola dolce, double brie, served with fig and sweet potato chutney and mixed crackers $17 (V & GF available)


Each main dish is served with fresh bread and green salad

Herb and chilli marinated grilled calamari, served on a mixed garden salad and topped with aioli and roasted mixed seeds $23 (GF)
Panzerotti Fritti - fried yeast pastry pocket filled with braised tomato, basil and fresh mozzarella served topped with a roasted walnut, caper and honey salsa $23 (V)

Live entertainment is by Maurice Milani and roving gypsy jazz band Bric a Brac between 11am and 4pm.          

We are unable to accommodate large coaches. Bus bookings are required for any bus which seats 12 or more people, via phoning 03 5729 8030 or by emailing louway@pizzini.com.au. Please note we cannot accept busses arriving after 2.30pm.
