Our Rosetta is a Sangiovese Nebbiolo Rosé, a tribute to our Matriarch. Rosetta loved her garden it was her escape from long days working. Aromas of strawberries and wild raspberries. Dry and crisp with fresh cherry and plum flavours, the Nebbiolo lending length.
This rosé has been made from selected Sangiovese vineyards that are noted for producing soft, delicate and fruity styles of wine, plus Nebbiolo picked from areas of our vineyard producing fruit with delicate floral characters. The fruit was machine picked, crushed and left on its skins for 8 – 9 hours. After pressing, the juice was then slowly cool fermented at 15˚C to retain fruit aromatics and freshness.
