Venue Manager, Mountain View Hotel

We are seeking a hand-on Venue Manager to run the operations of The Mountain View Hotel in Whitfield. The Hotel is a highly successful operation, servicing locals and visitors alike with a fantastic gastro pub feel and a little Italian flair. The Venue Manager is critical to the operation, bringing together back of house and front of house to deliver an exceptional customer experience.

The role reports to the Hospitality and Operations Manager and suits a hands-on hospitality professional looking to bring their own stamp to a well-established venue.

  • A proven track record in venue management
  • A professional "hands on approach" with an enthusiastic work manner
  • High level management skills and a keen eye for costing and budgeting
  • A thirst for growth with the ability to lead, inspire and motivate a team
  • The ability to establish and implement standards
  • Strong passion for quality local produce and wine expertise
  • Staff hiring, training and development skills
