If only life was as sweet as Nonna’s gnocchi
A weekend of entertainment for the whole family
Feast on Katrina’s homemade potato gnocchi with Nonna’s traditional bolognaise sauce or Fred’s duck ragout. Barbequed seafood by Chef Jean Jacques of Jean Jacques by the Sea fame. Mrs Deering will be there serving her famous blueberry ice cream and Pizzini’s delicious deserts will be available for those with a sweet tooth. Lunch will vary in price from $15-$20. Kids $6.
Live music, a wine spitting challenge (a spectacle to participate in or just watch, the prize being a case of wine), there is also the Ms Gnoccha gnocchi rolling competition ¬3pm both days. Those wanting to participate in a more refined activity can participate in social Petanque.
The weekend is a family affair with supervised kids activities including arts and crafts, races and piñata.
Bring along a blanket or there will be tables, chairs and shade provided. If it rains we will celebrate under the tobacco sheds at cellar door.

Kids activity - make your own Kite and learn how to fly it
Professional kite making business Kites4Kids will provide the kids with the materials to make their own kite to take home. The crew from Kites4Kids will then teach the kids how to fly their new kite. If the conditions are right Kites4Kids will also fly some of their huge kites for all to see. |

Kids activity - magic performances & Magic class (magic class will start after second performance and runs for 45 minutes)
Leading female magician, Cath Jamison, will perform amazing tricks for you, then reveal secrets on how to do some yourself. Amaze your friends and rival Harry Potter with your new magical skills!

Kyle will rove the grounds performing circus skills including juggling to acrobatics to balancing incorporating a lot of physical comedy and interaction. |

The Menu – All homemade
Potato gnocchi with mushroom napoletana or duck ragù, ricotta gnocchi with asparagus & Verduzzo cream sauce, eggplant ravioli with pepperonata, osso buco ravioli with veal jus, vegetarian antipasto plate and a selection of barbequed seafood dishes by Jean Jacques. Lunch $15 - $20. |
