Alfred and Joel Pizzini warmly invite you to Church St Enoteca for a celebration of the Pizzini family’s passion for Sangiovese. This is a unique opportunity to savour Sangioveses sourced from the world’s best producers. The line-up includes an enticing range of globally acclaimed Sangioveses from Italy, Australia and USA.
Jane Faulkner, freelance wine and food writer for The Age and Sydney Morning Herald newspapers will moderate the evening. She will ensure hearty, robust and controversial conversation is had at our long table. Eight international Sangioveses from producers including Castello Banfi, Isole e Olena, Siro Pacenti, Biondi Santi and Seghesio will be tasted alongside our Rubacuori Sangiovese and chef Vasilios Donoudis’s hand-crafted canapés - one to match each of the wines served.
